Under Pastor Jones’ leadership, Bible Way Baptist Church has more than tripled in membership, an additional Sunday Worship Service has been added along with a Church Bible Institute and over forty-one ministries have been implemented to meet the diverse needs of the church and community. Pastor Jones’ theological training includes Manna Bible Institute, The Center for Urban Theological Studies and The Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Pastor Jones holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree from the Philadelphia Biblical University in Langhorne, PA.

Vice Moderator at-Large

Over the last 16 years, Pastor Avinger has accomplished many things as Senior Pastor of Greater Saint Mathew Baptist Church. In response to the Lord's leading and the church's growth, Reverend Avinger has licensed nine ministers, sixteen evangelists, ordained sixteen deacons and three pastors. In addition to numerous ministries and Bible studies, Pastor Avinger has started the Greater Saint Matthew Evangelism Institute in September 1995. The institute has since graduated over six classes. In October 1995, Pastor Avinger was awarded an honorary doctorate of divinity degree, and has attained a B.A. and a M.A. in Public Policy from Villanova University . Pastor Avinger also attended the Master's of Divinity Program at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia , PA.
